The Leadership Academy
At Urban Youth Impact, we believe that every child in the inner city deserves more than just a safe place after school. They deserve the chance to grow, dream, and become leaders. That’s why we created The Leadership Academy, one of our core programs and the heart of our mission to transform lives.
Faith, Learning, and Leadership
Each afternoon, children transition from our private Christian school, Carver Christian Academy, into The Leadership Academy. There, they are surrounded by caring mentors, engaging classes, and a Christ-centered environment designed to build not only academic strength but also character, faith, and leadership.
Through The Leadership Academy, students experience:
Daily academic support that strengthens literacy, math, and critical thinking skills
Christ-centered mentorship that encourages spiritual growth and lasting hope
