Nurturing the Whole Child

To ensure every child flourishes, our classrooms are intentionally small, capped at 14 students, so each child receives personalized attention. Every class also has a dedicated classroom shepherd who nurtures students’ emotional and spiritual needs, creating a safe and healing environment, especially for children who have experienced trauma.

Beyond academics, we invest in the whole child. Our distinctive after-school programs in creative arts, sciences, and enrichment give students opportunities to explore, discover, and grow their unique gifts.

    Before you begin, please have these documents ready:

    Required Documents

    • Official Birth Certificate

    • Current Florida Immunization Record

    • Physical Examination Form (completed within the last 12 months)

    Additional Documents (if applicable)

    • IEP

    • 504 Plan

    • Behavioral Intervention Plan (BIP)

    • Speech, Occupational, or Other Therapy Plans

    • Any educational or medical evaluations from your child's previous school

  • Carver Christian Academy participates in the Step Up For Students Scholarship program.

    Every family is required to complete the Step Up application.

    Before you begin, have the following ready:

    • Social Security Number

    • Two proofs of Florida residency

    How to Apply

    1. Visit the Step Up website.

    2. Click Apply Now or Log In.

    3. Create an account (or log in if you already have one).

    4. Complete the scholarship application.

    Important: Save your username and password. You will need to log in throughout the school year.

  • After you complete your Step Up application, your scholarship will usually be processed within about one week.

    Once it is available:

    Important: We cannot continue your enrollment until we receive your Step Up Award ID.

  • Once we receive your Step Up Award ID, our Admissions Office will contact you to schedule your enrollment interview.

    Who Should Attend?

    • The student

    • The parent or guardian listed on the application

    Additional authorized pick-up adults may also be asked to attend.

    Academic Placement Assessment

    During the enrollment interview, your child will complete a short academic assessment. This helps us:

    • Understand your child's current academic level

    • Place them in the appropriate classes

    • Identify any support they may need

    We will review the results with your family during the meeting.
