The Leadership Academy

Assist students with their homework and reading.

TLA Reception Desk
Answer phones and greet parents. Monday-Friday 2:30-6:30 p.m.
Snack Squad
As part of serving the holistic needs of the youth served by Urban Youth Impact, The Leadership Academy has partnered with local groups to provide nutritious snacks for 130 students upon their arrival to The Leadership Academy. The Snack Squad is charged with ensuring snacks are provided to the students when The Leadership Academy is in session. The Snack Squad is a great group activity that can be "done in a day"!
Monday-Friday, 2:45 p.m. - set up; 3:00-3:30 p.m. - serve children
Family Empowerment Program
Serve parents dinner, clean up, and provide childcare.
5:30-9:00 p.m. the third Thursday of every month.
Assist with fun and games at the monthly family night.
6:00-8:30 p.m. once a month.
Administrative Assistant
Greet guests at the front desk; answer the phone and make calls, and assist with administrative projects.
9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday-Friday.
Summer Jam Camp
Help with academic enrichment, fun summer activities at our Dream Center, and chaperoning off-site field trips.
10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Monday-Friday for six weeks from June to July.
Back2School Blast
Volunteer to assist in the following areas: Haircuts, arts and crafts, games, face painting, backpack distribution, hospitality, prayer, parking, registration, setup, and tear down.
Saturday, August 13, 2011 at the Dream Center.

Christmas Store
Volunteer to assist in the following areas:
Arts and crafts, games, face painting, gift wrapping, personal shopping with parents, hospitality, prayer, parking, registration, setup, and tear down.
