One way UYI equips and empowers our students is by giving them the opportunity to learn business skills and earn money through Impact Coffee Co.  Every year, Impact Coffee hires interns who have excelled in The Leadership Academy or Summer Work Program.  They learn how to purchase, package and market our high-quality organic coffee to our customers.  Impact Coffee is dedicated to enriching the lives of urban youth through this guided internship that gives students a meaningful work experience and hands-on training, right in their backyard.
