Back 2 School Blast Thank You

The Back 2 School Blast occurs each August and offers free backpacks, school supplies, and fun activities.

In 2012, over 90 volunteers put on the first ever "Gear Up for School" event, which was our most personalized Back 2 School Blast event to date.  155 children who attend UYI's Leadership Academy and their siblings received a personalized gift of a backpack, school supplies, uniforms, socks, underwear and shoes fulfilling their back to school “wish list.” We could not have had such an incredible event without the contributions of time, funds and energy of our donors and volunteers.

Thank you to our sponsors, donors and volunteers.  We could not have done it without you!
