A Special Thanks from Mario

I would love to thank you for this great opportunity to have an unforgettable experience at Urban Youth Impact’s Work Program, Reframe. I had a chance to work at JAY Ministries summer camp. I’ve made new friends and also made a friendship closer with a staff member I really didn’t know nor get along with that much…we just put our differences aside and started working together. The kids are fun to play with and the camp counselors are very nice and made me feel comfortable in a new environment.

My communication skills are improving a lot more as I interact more with the kids and staff. I also learned more about responsibility, organization, and most importantly goal making. I used to try and take on more than what I can handle but now I understand things can go a lot better if you take on step at a time but always stay three steps ahead. My relationship with kids has always been great but now it feels like I’ve improved x10 better.

I feel very blessed just by getting an opportunity such as this one I have so many words for how grateful I am but I’d rather show my appreciation by completing the Work Force Program, go to school and getting my diploma and plan my future with success! Again thank you so much for your donations and effort for giving this WONDERFUL opportunity this has been one of the best memory, experience, and blessings I’ve ever been giving.
