Jennifer Drozd - Events & Public Relations

Jennifer is the Events & Public Relations Coordinator at Urban Youth Impact. She is responsible for engaging community, church and corporate groups in the work of Urban Youth Impact.  In addition, Jenny manages the agency's newsletters, annual report, and outreach events while assisting with fundraising efforts and grant writing. She feels blessed to work at Urban Youth Impact because she sees God’s finger prints daily as He shapes the lives of students, staff and volunteers for His glory.

Jennifer came to Urban Youth Impact after working for the American Cancer Society where she was focused on event planning, volunteer development and fundraising. Prior to working in non-profit, Jennifer worked in the luxury travel and art industry. Her job took her to the White Marlin Open, St. Maarten, Antigua, Exuma (Bahamas) and many, many Boat Shows.

A University of Florida graduate with a BS in Public Relations, she is an adamant Gator Football fan. A Florida native born in Miami and raised in West Palm Beach, Jennifer attended The King’s Academy from Pre-K to 12th grade and credits the schooling for giving her a firm foundation for her faith. She was married to her wonderful husband Matthew in Costa Rica and they had a beautiful son, Marek Joseph, in May 2010.  Most weekends, you will find them out on the boat enjoying the water near their home in Tequesta.
