Terryon Chapman - Discipline Assistant

Terryon works as the Discipline Assistant for The Leadership Academy and he heads up the maintenance team at Urban Youth Impact. He is responsible for monitoring the disciplinary zone system utilized at The Leadership Academy, overseeing the exterior and interior maintenance of the buildings, and the landscaping. Terryon, who grew up in the Tamarind Avenue corridor, has been working at Urban Youth Impact for two years.

He is actively involved with the Bow Down Church, which Urban Youth Impact planted to serve the inner-city community. At Bow Down Church he leads set-up and breakdown of the services, oversees the guys at the intern house, and coordinates the weekly outreach to the Twin Lakes housing community. He also attends weekly Bible study and prayer meetings. Because of his heart for the kids coming from his neighborhood, he is one of the leaders at Wednesday night Bible study and he mentors 10 kids. He enjoys taking them to outreach events, teaching them to serve in church, and giving them work experience in helping detail cars. He also takes them to parks, fishing and sports activities.

He is a proud father of Terryon Jr. and they love spending time together reading, praying, playing sports and video games. Terryon feels that his work at Urban Youth Impact is a blessing and is looking forward to all the Lord has in store for him.
