Jesse Grube - Team Leader

Jesse Grube is a Team Leader for the fourth grade class in The Leadership Academy. He has worked at UYI since September 2009 with both middle school and elementary aged children. He has many creative talents both musically and artistically and has been an asset by using these gifts. Jesse believes God has called him to be involved with “his boys” and has organized and held a variety of activities and Bible studies outside of the classroom.
Jesse grew up on Long Island, NY and in September 2007 followed God’s call and moved to Costa Mesa, CA to join the Calvary Chapel Men’s School of Ministry. During his years of schooling in California, not only did Jesse’s relationship with God grow to a whole new level but God opened many doors of ministry. He volunteered for two years doing prayer counseling on the prayer line for Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa, taught a middle school class and joined the worship team. Through a close friend he got involved with Orange County Teen Challenge and began teaching their “Growth Group” for men entering into phase 1 of drug and alcohol treatment. Upon completion of the school of ministry in June 2009, Jesse received a certificate in “Pastoral Ministry.” After much prayer, Jesse felt led by God to move to West Palm Beach, FL.
In his free time Jesse enjoys playing his guitar, recording music, spending time with his girlfriend Nicole, going to New York to visit family and friends and spending time with the boys he mentors. A verse Jesse lives by and feels is the driving force behind his own personal growing relationship with Christ, as well as his passion for ministry is Genesis 50:20, “But as for you, you meant evil against me: but God meant it for good, in order to bring it about as it is this day, the saving of many lives.”
