Bill Hobbs - President
Bill Hobbs was born and raised in Buffalo, New York, and is currently living in West Palm Beach with his wife of 25+ years, Kerry, and his daughter, Rachel.
In 1988, Bill went into full-time ministry with Palm Beach County Youth for Christ as the Youth Guidance Director. He served 14 years as a PGA Golf Professional with the highlight of his golf career as Head Professional at PGA National Golf Club in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, from 1984 to 1987.
Urban Youth Impact grew from one man’s dream to share the love and hope of Jesus Christ with the inner-city kids of West Palm Beach. Bill Hobbs began by visiting the projects on the Tamarind Avenue corridor where the children lived, bringing sports equipment and the Bible. As he showed them the love of Jesus, he became a father to the fatherless…” The same 25 boys would come every week to hear about Jesus, how He loved them and had a plan for their lives.
Currently the President and Founder of Urban Youth Impact, Bill has ministered to youth in this community for over 20 years. Because of Bill’s fervor, God’s faithfulness and a strong group of committed supporters, Urban Youth Impact has grown into a reputable, faith-based nonprofit organization focused on loving, equipping and empowering inner-city youth and their parents to fulfill their God-given purpose.
Bill graduated from Palm Beach Atlantic College in 1992 and is an ordained minister.
