Bill Hobbs - President

William HobbsBill Hobbs was born and raised in Buffalo, New York, and is currently living in West Palm Beach with his wife of 25+ years, Kerry, and his daughter, Rachel.

In 1988, Bill went into full-time ministry with Palm Beach County Youth for Christ as the Youth Guidance Director. He served 14 years as a PGA Golf Professional with the highlight of his golf career as Head Professional at PGA National Golf Club in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, from 1984 to 1987.

Elizabeth Badgett - Team Leader

Elizabeth BadgettElizabeth was first introduced to the life-changing work of Urban Youth Impact while attending Palm Beach Atlantic University. In 2010, she graduated with a degree in Molecular Biotechnology and Medicinal Chemistry.

Lizzy is passionate about working with the middle school students in The Leadership Academy. "Middle schoolers have a lot of identity pressures on top of academic stress," says Lizzy, "I feel called to support and encourage each individual student on the journey that God has laid before them."

Bella Baron - Director of Programs

Bella BaronBella serves as the Director of Programs. In her role she is responsible for the oversight of all of our major programs. She is passionate about meeting the needs of underprivileged children and their families through empowerment.

Bella served at Christians Reaching Out to Society, Inc. (C.R.O.S. Ministries) for 11 1/2 years as their Program Director. Although she fully enjoyed her time at C.R.O.S. she felt that God was calling her to use her gifts and talents to holistically meet the needs of underprivileged children and their families. She came on staff with Urban Youth Impact in 2012.

Stephanie Brunjes - Volunteer Coordinator

Stephanie Williams

Stephanie is the Volunteer Coordinator at Urban Youth Impact.  In her role, she is responsible for building, developing and nurturing a team of high-impact volunteers who effectively reach UYI’s kingdom goals to become leaders who lead and develop other volunteers.  She has a passion for serving the community and showing people the love of Christ.

James Cheatham - Director of Project 5:13

James Cheatham is the director of Project 5:13 here at Urban Youth Impact. Project 5:13 is an Urban Missions program that allowing college-aged students the opportunity to live and work in the inner-city of West Palm Beach; serving the children and families who live here. Students will receive discipleship and coaching as they experience front-line missions.

Michele Cyr - Team Leader

Michele CyrMichele Cyr is the Third Grade Elementary Team Leader at Urban Youth Impact. She is passionate about helping students improve their reading levels--assisting them in literacy as well as with homework while also providing a variety of educational and non-educational activities. "I believe that God has brought me to Urban Youth Impact so that I can combine my talents in teaching with sharing Christ's love."

Patricia Dixon - Family Empowerment Program Director

Patricia Dixon, also known as "G.P." (Grandma Pat), came to Urban Youth Impact in 2001 as part of a focus group on community needs. She was introduced to Mr. Bill in 1997 by her grandson, Travar Dixon, at a weekly outreach. G.P. graduated from the very first Parent Program offered by Urban Youth Impact in 2002 and her daughter, Tasha graduated the following year. In 2002, G.P. was added to the Urban Youth Impact family as parent liaison and later took on the Family Empowerment Program Coordinator position.

Ami Ghaster - Team Leader

Ami Ghaster is the Team Leader for kindergarten and first grade at The Leadership Academy.  She enjoys working with the students by modeling the love of Christ and helping them learn.

Sarah Gregory - Executive Assistant & Office Manager

Sarah Gregory serves as Executive Assistant to Bill Hobbs, Founder and President of Urban Youth Impact. In addition, she also serves as UYI’s Office Manager and oversees online communications. Informally, Sarah has become known as Urban Youth Impact's "editor in chief" given her great aptitude for perfecting everything from grammar to graphic design. Sarah graduated Cum Laude from Moody Bible Institute with a Bachelor of Arts in Bible and Communications/Print Media.

Larry Hicks - Transportation Manager/Property Maintenance

Larry is responsible for maintenance and upkeep of all UYI vehicles, planning and scheduling vehicle usage for our various programs and driving the bus. He says his fringe benefits are high fives, fist bumps, and hugs!  Larry also works with Terryon Chapman on building upkeep and preventative maintenance.
